Program Launched to Reduce Number of Accidents

Posted on December 10th, 2009 No Comments

Police and other law enforcement organizations across the state are taking part in a program that aims to reduce the number of serious traffic accidents from occurring.  The program titled ‘Booze and Belts’ will attempt to increase enforcement and awareness of the issues surrounding drunken driving and seatbelt use.  These two issues are the main cause of serious accidents that occur on the roads.

Drunken driving is a major form of preventable accidents, and seatbelts are a major way to prevent deaths.

The program hopes to raise awareness and save lives of Wisconsin residents.
