Wisconsin Police Launch New Program for Safety

Posted on December 10th, 2009 No Comments

A large number of police organizations across the state have announced cooperation in a campaign in an attempt to make the roads safer for all.  The campaign titled “Booze and Belts’ will attempt to raise awareness as well as increase enforcement for drunk driving and seatbelt violations.  These two issues are two of the most important issues when it comes to safety on the road and both result in the most fatalities out of any traffic accident.

Police officers have stated that if the program can result in at least one life saved that it would be considered a complete success.
