Tim Wissbroecker was riding his typical training route on Highway 64 when he was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured. Wissbroecker, who was training for a triathalon this summer, will have to put his plans on hold.

According to WSAU, “The Langlade County sheriff’s department says a Honda CR-V hit Wissbroecker…The driver, a white man in his 30s who is about 6-feet tall with brown hair, drove off.”

The family is offering a reward to help find the driver. Donations can be made to the family’s cause at the CoVantage Credit Union, according to WSAU.
