A Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy has been cited following an accident in which the deputy was deemed to be at fault. The accident only caused minor injuries to those involved.

The accident occurred when the deputy ran a stop sign and struck another vehicle at an intersection.  The deputy was not responding to an accident and did not have his siren on at the time of the accident.  The sheriff’s department will conduct an investigation into the accident to determine if any additional action will be needed.
