St. Patrick's Day Ends With 77 OWIs

Milwaukee County police arrested 77 people on suspicion of drunk driving on St. Patrick’s day, police said. The city of Milwaukee itself had 15 OWI arrests, authorities said, and eight of those people had prior drunk driving convictions. Officers issued 412 citations throughout the day.

Two accidents causing injury occurred, authorities said, and a driver in each instance was cited for causing injury when driving while intoxicated.
