5-car crash closes highway for most of the day

Four passenger vehicles and a semi tractor-trailer collided Monday morning near LaGrange, Wis., authorities said, closing U.S. Highway 12 until the afternoon. The accident had multiple points of contact, police said, and the crash scene extends about 150 yards down the road.

At least two people were injured in the crash, police said. They were taken to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, authorities said. Police are still investigating the accident.
