Two people were seriously injured in a vehicle collision on Lake Five Road.  The collision occurred when a 66-year-old Whitefish Bay woman who was traveling southbound ran a stop sign and crashed into a truck that was moving through an intersection.  The accident has encouraged officials to make a no passing zone near the entrance of the Libson Community Park on Lake Five Road.

Both of the crash victims were transported to a Milwaukee hospital where they were treated for serious injuries.  Authorities say that both people involved in the crash are expected to survive.  Officials also add that they have had many recent complaints about vehicles speeding through town and they intend to discuss these matters to see what else can be done to protect Wisconsin drivers.
