Christmas Day rollover crash leads to man’s 6th OWI arrest

Charges may be filed against a man who rolled his vehicle with his 5-year-old son in the car while driving under the influence of alcohol at around 10:30 am on December 25.

The 35-year-old man was driving south on State Highway 83 when he missed a curve and his vehicle ran off the road, striking two road signs before rolling over. Officers report that the subject showed signs of intoxicated but refused a sobriety test. He began to resist arrest as he was led toward the squad car, causing an officer to tase him twice.
