UK study shows that 1/3 of cars damaged by potholes

Posted on August 5th, 2011 No Comments

A new survey completed by the Institute of Advanced Motorists shows that nearly a third of drivers say their vehicles have been damaged due to potholes. 16% of the 2,600 people who participated in the survey said that they’ve been involved or seen accidents caused by these road defects.

Nearly 88% said that repairing the potholes should be a top priority for city maintenance and more than half thought their council members were doing a bad to very bad job at road maintenance.
