Wisconsin Rapids rollover crash injures 1

A 49-year-old man was injured last Wednesday during a rollover crash that occurred in Wisconsin Rapids.

The man was traveling down Fourth Avenue when a 16-year-old girl made a left-hand turn in front of his vehicle, causing a collision. The man’s vehicle rolled over, and police officers had to extract him from his vehicle using the jaws of life.

The 16-year-old girl was not injured, but the man had to be taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained during the crash. No charges have been filed in this accident as of yet.

21-year-old man seriously injured in rollover crash

A 21-year-old man from Wisconsin Rapids was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday morning.

According to reports from the police department, the man was driving down the 2100 block of Witrock Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, and it rolled over several times. The man suffered serious injuries during the crash and was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.

Police stated that the man may have been speeding at the time of the accident, and the crash is still being investigated.

Man killed in single-vehicle rollover crash

A 29-year-old man from Kenosha was killed on Sunday morning when his vehicle rolled over.

The accident occurred a little before 1:30 a.m. near Old Green Bay Road. According to reports, the man and a male passenger were traveling southbound when the man failed to negotiate his vehicle around a curve in the road. Both men were taken to the hospital, where the 29-year-old man died. His passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, although they suspect that it may have been due to excessive speed, intoxication, and foggy weather.

Driver Flees After Rollover Crash

A one-car accident occured when a 23 year-old man from Denver was driving a Toyota and crashed his vehicle into a ditch. The man was speeding, as his car swerved off the road and rolled over several times before stopping in the ditch.

The driver fled the scene of the accident on foot, however officers were able to find him by finding the owner registered to the vehicle. They took him to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. He was also given a citation for reckless driving.

Rollover car accident stops traffic on I-94

A rollover accident shut down parts of Interstate 94 in Delafield. The single-car accident occurred near the Highway 83 exit.

Authorities have not released details of how the accident occurred but the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle causing it to flip over.

The person in the car was transported to the hospital via Flight for Life helicopter. No information on the victim has been released and traffic continues to move slowly in the shoulder of the highway.
