2 semi-trucks involved in 12-vehicle crash in Wisconsin

A 12-vehicle crash occurred in Appleton this weekend that involved two semi-trucks and ten cars and caused the injuries of at least three drivers.

The accident occured shortly before noon on Saturday. All 12 vehicles collided on Wisconsin’s highway 41. There were no fatalities, but a 47-year-old woman was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to a local hospital. Reports indicate that the woman is currently in stable condition. Two other were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Investigations into the accident are still under way as officials still do not know what caused the accident.

Collision with Semi-Truck Injures One

A 23-year-old Wisconsin woman was left with minor injuries on Monday when she collided with a semi-truck on highway 90.

The accident happened when the woman lost control of her Toyota Corolla, left the roadway, and nearly drove into oncoming traffic. As she was attempting to get back into her lane, she crashed into a semi-truck that was driving in the same lane. Both the car and semi then ran into median cables before stopping.

The woman was rushed to a hospital to be treated for her minor injuries. The 55-year-old driver of the semi was not injured.
