Unattended car injures 3 people

Three people, including a 21-month-old child, were injured when an unattended car that was left in park rolled over them.

The accident occurred in Wind Lake at a church on Heg Park Road. The car was sitting in park in the church parking lot when it suddenly came out of park and began rolling down a hill. The car hit two adults and the child, and the child became pinned under the car.

The Wind Lake Fire/Rescue Department arrived at the scene of the accident and took the three people to hospitals in the Waukesha and Wauwatosa area. The adults were treated for minor injuries, while the child was treated for a minor concussion and contusions to his knees.
