Family members killed in big rig accident

Seven people were killed and three were injured in a van that was rear-ended by a big rig truck last week. All passengers are extended family members who were driving to a funeral in New Jersey when they hit a deer and then was struck by the truck in Bristol, Indiana.

The only survivors are a 28 year-old man, a 36 year-old woman, and the 30 year-old driver. The deceased range in age from six-weeks old to 52 years-old. According to reports, no one inside was wearing their seatbelt. The infant was in its car seat, but it was not fastened.

The 24 year-old driver of the big rig truck was released from the hospital with minor injuries.
