Motorcycle accident leaves man with head injuries

A Mount Pleasant man is suffering from serious head injuries after he was ejected from his motorcycle Sunday afternoon. He was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa in critical condition after colliding with another vehicle in Racine.

The 41 year-old motorcyclist was hurt when he tried to pass a car that was slowing down to make a turn. He went around the car on the right while the car was making a right-hand turn when they collided.

Authorities believe speed may have been a factor in the accident. No citations have been issued while the crash remains under investigation.
