Two charged for death of Oswego man

The death of a 22 year-old Oswego man has resulted in two drivers facing charges of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The 22 year-old man was walking home from a nearby bar when he was fatally struck.

One driver is also facing charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a prohibited blood alcohol content. He was arrested at the scene and has since been released on bond. Details of the accident are not clear at this time, and an investigation is still ongoing.

Friends of the deceased man say he had been drinking with them at a bar a few blocks away just moments before the collision, the Beacon News reports.
