One dead, three wounded in Town of Ottawa car accident

The Waukesha Police Department has reported a single-vehicle accident in the Town of Ottawa that killed one man and injured three others on Monday night, June 24.

Emergency responders from the sheriff’s department, the Eagle’s Fire Department, and the Mukwonago Fire Department arrived on Highway C1 east of Highway Z at around 10:20 p.m. Police found 18-year-old Trevor Thomas, who was riding on the passenger side and was reportedly pinned inside the vehicle, dead at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, the driver, an unidentified 20-year-old man from the town of Ottawa and two other passengers were taken to a nearby hospital so that medics could attend to their non life-threatening injuries.

Police investigators do not point to alcohol as the cause of the accident. Police were conducting further investigations into the case in the days after the accident.
