School bus involved in Kenosha County accident

On Thursday, March 6, a car crashed into the back of a school bus in Union Grove.

The accident happened on Route 45, south of Highway 142. The driver of the car was pinned in his vehicle, because the accident caused his car to become wedged under the school bus. After emergency crews extracted the pinned driver, he was airlifted to a hospital.

The bus wasn’t seriously damaged by the accident. Police are still investigating factors that may have lead to the accident.
