Tanker truck rollover accident results in minor injuries

Two people were injured when an SUV and a 26,000-pound Port-A-John tanker truck collided in the 3300 block of Springbrook Road in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Kenosha News reported on August 15.

The SUV hit the driver’s side of the commercial truck, causing it to roll over into a ditch at the side of the road. The truck driver, fort-four-year-old Wauwatosa resident Michael Gardner, was extricated from the vehicle because his hand was trapped. Other than his hand, however, there were no further injuries. The SUV driver, 57-year-old Kenosha resident Brian Olson, did not suffer injuries, although he was brought to a local hospital just in case.
