Two cars ignited in Pewaukee crash, resulting in drivers’ injuries

Two vehicles ignited after a crash at an intersection in Pewaukee, resulting in the injury and hospitalization of both drivers, the Journal Sentinel reported on September 6.

According to preliminary investigations made by the police, a 65-year-old West Bend man was headed south on Redford Boulevard when he collided with a vehicle operated by a 17-year-old Waukesha boy. He had been preparing to turn left at an intersection from Redford Boulevard onto Busse Road.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and the Pewaukee Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident. Before their arrival, citizens used fire extinguishers and had begun removing one victim from his vehicle. The accident is currently under investigation by police authorities.
