One injured in Milwaukee pedestrian accident

A male pedestrian was struck near the intersection of N. Maryland Avenue and E. Edgewood Avenue in the morning of September 23 and sustained serious injuries, FOX6 reported.

Milwaukee police authorities are continuing to investigate. According to reports, a 66-year-old Shorewood local walked northbound at the intersection when an eastbound vehicle drive by a 24-year-old woman from Waukesha approached and hit the man. He was flown to Froedtert Hospital for immediate treatment. The woman, however, remained at the scene and cooperated with the local police force.
