Alcohol involved in train-car crash

The Waukesha Police Department in Wisconsin recently reported that a train crashed into a vehicle close to North Hartwell Avenue and East Main Street at around 4:15 a.m. on December 27, WISN reported.

According to reports, the police received a call regarding a totaled vehicle near the railroad, and the driver of the vehicle was loitering on the tracks nearby.

The driver appeared to be unharmed, police said. They said alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash, but authorities refused to divulge any more information about the incident to avoid compromising the ongoing investigation.
