Fremont two-vehicle accident kills one

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department in Wisconsin recently reported that one individual was killed in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 10, located east of County Highway Y in the town of Fremont, on Wednesday, October 14 at around 6 a.m.

The deceased individual was identified as a 53-year-old male resident of the town of Mosinee.

According to preliminary investigations made by the authorities, a Pontiac Sunfire heading west along U.S. Route 10 collided with a Chevrolet Cobalt. The driver of the Sunfire was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The sheriff’s department added that the driver of the Chevrolet, who was identified as a 53-year-old resident of Neillsville, sustained “incapacitating injuries” in the collision and was airlifted via helicopter to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
