Car-school bus collision in southern Wisconsin wounds four

A car-school bus collision that occurred along Highway 14 in Rock County’s Center Township in southern Wisconsin on Tuesday, January 5, resulted in three students sustaining non-life-threatening injuries and one man’s life being put in danger.

According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, when their police deputies arrived at the scene of the accident, a car was trapped under the rear of the bus.

A statement from police officers announced that three bus passengers had suffered minor wounds; two of them were subsequently taken to a hospital in Janesville, where they were expected to be released soon after receiving treatment for their injuries.

The driver of the car, on the other hand, who was only identified as a 36-year-old man by local authorities, was rushed to the hospital in order to obtain treatment for critical injuries that he suffered in the crash.
