Waukesha pedestrian accident kills one

The Waukesha Police Department in Wisconsin reported on Friday, February 5, that 23-year-old Megan Bock was hit by a vehicle near Highway 164 and Sunset Drive at around 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 4.

Waukesha Fire Department battalion chief Joseph Hoffman said that bystanders came to the aid of the victim to the point of administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Hoffman added that bystanders were reliable in giving eyewitness accounts, providing law enforcement with “great information about what they had seen and what had they had been doing so far before [our] arrival”.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of those at the scene, Bock succumbed to mortal injuries later at the hospital she was taken to.

Police officials said that they have yet to make any arrests or issue any citations. Waukesha police accident reconstruction specialists are currently doing an investigation into the matter to find out what caused the vehicle-pedestrian accident in the first place.
