Two-vehicle accident kills one

A 28-year-old man from Hubertus lost his life in a car accident that occurred just north of Willow Creek Road on Appleton Avenue in Germantown last Tuesday, June 14. The accident occurred when the car he was driving crossed the center line and collided with a truck that was heading in the opposite direction.

The Germantown Police Department said the victim, identified as Joshua Michek, was declared dead at the scene of the accident despite the lifesaving efforts that members of the Germantown Fire Department made to revive him. The truck driver, a 52-year-old man from Watertown, was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls with non-life-threatening injuries. The Germantown Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the case to determine what caused the driver to cross the center line.

The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier are saddened to hear about this incident. Our condolences are with the family and friends of the victim as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
